The 90-minute interactive event takes place on a moving ship, offering participants the dual appeal of mental challenges and scenic waterfront views across four Ontario cities — Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, and Barrie. The premise of the floating escape room casts players as a pirate crew tasked with breaking a supernatural curse. Live actors in full pirate regalia enhance the immersive qualities of Escape the Ghost Ship. A series of collaborative puzzles that range in difficulty, on the other hand, drive the narrative forward. Additional amenities, such as an onboard licensed bar serving cocktails and beer, cater to adults seeking a social outing, while the family-friendly format welcomes participants as young as 12.
