Kleenex® has introduced ‘The Kleenex® Score,’ a new rating system developed in partnership with IMDb to help moviegoers gauge the emotional intensity of films before watching. Launching on March 1st, the rating system assesses how likely a movie is to evoke tears, based on its emotional content. The system evaluates a collection of films, both popular and new releases, that are known for their emotional moments.

The Kleenex® Score is part of a curated collection of ‘Tearjerker Titles’ that includes films with strong emotional arcs. Available exclusively on IMDb, this feature offers viewers a way to anticipate the emotional tone of films they might choose to watch. Moreover, the initiative is aimed at enhancing the viewing experience by providing more insight into the emotional impact of different films.
