The Macallan presents ‘Art is the Flower,’ a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky that unites artistic inspiration with expert whisky craftsmanship. Part of the newly launched ‘Tree of Life Collection,’ this release honors the enduring connection between creativity and nature.

Named after Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s 1902 lecture, “Art is the flower, life is the green leaf,” this expression reflects Mackintosh’s admiration for the natural world. Art is the Flower opens with rich notes of dried fruits, polished oak, and cherry, followed by layers of sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, and a hint of leaf tea, delivering a harmonious balance of flavor.

Matured in European oak sherry-seasoned casks, the whisky offers a smooth texture and refined finish. Inspired by Mackintosh’s ‘The Spirit of the Rose’ stained-glass panel, the collection celebrates nature’s circular beauty and The Macallan’s commitment to artistry and tradition.
