Anthony Edwards‘ ex-girlfriend, Alexandria Desroches, also publicly known as Ally D., has spoken on his alleged absence and financial contributions to their 1-year-old son, Amir, amid their ongoing child support case.

Anthony Edwards’ Ex-GF details His Alleged Absence & Financial Contributions To Their 1-Year-Old Son Amir

On April 15, In Touch Weekly published an exclusive report asserting that the outlet spoke with Alexandria Desroches and her attorney. During the conversation, per the outlet, the mother of one and her legal counsel, Al Hedayati of the Hedayati Law Group, spoke on Edwards refiling their child support case.

“[This case is about] somebody who has superior financial power attempting to suppress [Ally’s] rights and play games,” the lawyer reportedly told the outlet.

Hedayati reportedly explained that Edwards has allegedly been “stringing Ally along for years with promises that he never followed through with for the past year and four months.” During that time, Desroches reportedly added that Edwards never met their son.

On the financial front, Desroches alleges that she received a one-time payment of $20,000 from Edwards in November 2023. This reportedly follows their son’s birth in October 2023. Then, in December 2023, Desroches allegedly received an undisclosed sum from Edwards for the holidays.

In 2024, Desroches reportedly told the outlet that Edwards’ voluntary payments fluctuated between $5,000 and $7,200. However, she and her lawyer believe the NBA star should be paying “substantially more” for the care of their son. Per the outlet, Desroches reportedly stated that her intention is not to “live off” Edwards.

“She is raising a child as a single mother and has an open-door policy for [Anthony] to see the child,” the lawyer reportedly noted, adding their hope for the child support case to be amicably resolved.

More On The Pair’s Initial Paternity, Custody & Child Support Case

According to the outlet, Anthony Edwards and Alexandria Desroches met in 2020 and pursued a non-exclusive, but romantic relationship. In January 2024, he reportedly asserted his paternity to Amir and requested joint legal and physical custody of the infant. Additionally, he reportedly requested that a monthly child support payment be determined by a court.

Months later, however, the petition was reportedly dismissed. In Touch reports that this was because Edwards failed to serve Desroches with the petition.

Then, on March 21, Edwards refiled his paternity case against Desroches, as previously reported by The Shade Room. In the suit, he reportedly reasserted his paternity to Amir. However, he reportedly argued that his and Desroches’ case should be based in Georgia because that is where their child was conceived and born.

At the time, In Touch reported that Edwards noted his desire to establish child support for Amir. However, he did not request to establish custody or visitation with the 1-year-old.

Per Desroches’ recent reported conversation with the outlet, her lawyer noted that she plans to fight Edwards to keep their case in New York. She reportedly noted that she has lived there since January 2024. Per the outlet, their case remains ongoing at this time.

To note, Edwards is also currently involved in a child support case for an infant baby girl named Aubri Summers, shared with Ayesha Howard. Additionally, In Touch has reported that around September 2024, Edwards reportedly settled a child support case over a daughter named Aris, reportedly shared with a woman named Daja Carlyle. To note, Edwards also shares a young daughter named Aislynn with his current girlfriend, Shannon Jackson.
