Dorsey Pictures and 2500 Media have teamed for Outdoor World, a VOD channel featuring over 1,500 episodes of hunting, fishing, self-defense and natural history programming from the Dorsey Pictures content library.
Outdoor World will launch in early August 2025 on the Roku and Sling TV platforms, reaching over 90 million active subscribers. Additional content from Dorsey Pictures’ library will be added to Outdoor World as the channel plots expansion to other VOD and FAST channel services and platforms.
“The outdoor market is a massive, underserved category comprised of some 65 million Americans who spend more than $100 billion annually on their pursuits,” said Sean Perry, CEO of 2500 Media, which he launched in 2023 following 25 years as a senior partner at WME/Endeavor.
