The Roku Ultra is one of the best streaming boxes you can buy, and I should know, as I have one I use every single day. It gets even better if you can find one for a low price, and you can pick one on Prime Day for $69. What’s even nicer is you don’t even need a subscription to Amazon Prime to get this deal, although it’d arrive a lot faster if you were a subscriber.
If I didn’t already have one, I’d jump on a Roku Ultra at this price in a heartbeat. This is the 2024 model, so it’s much faster than previous generations, and if you take good care of it, you can get years and years of life out of it.

Roku / Pocket-lint
A Roku Ultra, like other streaming devices, is a worthwhile purchase for anybody looking to upgrade their viewing experience at home. This model is much faster than your smart TV user interface, and it’ll be an upgrade for any current streaming stick. The Roku Ultra has 4K support, an Ethernet port for uninterrupted streaming, and a button on the device itself that’ll help you locate your lost remote.
With its drop to $69, it hit its lowest price yet. While I use mine in the bedroom, it could easily have a home in my living room, and it even has some features an Apple TV 4K doesn’t have yet — notably audio passthrough. The only real issue I have with mine is that it shows a bit more ads than I’d like to see. Of course, any device would feel like that since Apple TV devices don’t show any ads, so Roku and Amazon both feel intrusive to me. Aside from that, there’s a lot to love about the Roku Ultra, and if you can get it for this price, there’s no reason not to.
