Recently, Charli XCX appeared on The Bru Show, where the singer expressed that she was not at all surprised by the massive reach of the tour. The ‘Guess’ singer said, “She’s like the biggest artist in the world. She added, “Of course, it’s going to be the biggest tour in the world.” Charli XCX further shared her views on Swift’s music, saying that Swift makes music that people just connect with on such a grand scale.

Charli XCX, who was part of Swift’s last Reputation Stadium Tour and featured in its movie, also added that it was already huge and just felt monolithic in a way. She further added about Swift. “She’s massive. I think it’s amazing that she’s doing these huge, huge, huge shows and they absolutely adore them. It’s amazing.”  Her statement cleared the air that there is no bad blood between her and Swift, putting rumors to rest.

This put a new light on the matter after last year when the tabloids were filled with the news of beef between Charli XCX and Taylor Swift.

What caused the so-called difference between Taylor Swift and Charli XCX?

In 2024, the rumors of a feud between Charli XCX and Taylor Swift arose after people interpreted that lyrics from the former’s song ‘Sympathy is a Knife’ were hinting at insecurity and feelings of being overshadowed by another woman. This woman was decoded to be Taylor Swift, who at the time was dating Matty Healy, the band member of Charli XCX’s fiancé, George Daniel. But later, both artists cleared the air, saying there is no bad blood. Some wise people even point out that it was just a manufactured catfight among two successful ladies created by the drama seekers.

Moreover, Charli XCX was one of the opening acts for Taylor Swift during the iconic Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018, along with Camila Cabello, making it a hit night. Though she was not present at the Eras Tour, she still recognizes its potential. While the
