Notorious sports analyst Skip Bayless has claimed that Dak Prescott’s shock split from his fiancee is the biggest news of NFL free agency this year as he hinted at the reason behind the breakup.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and his former partner Sarah Jane Ramos, who share two daughters, were due to tie the knot in a lavish Italian ceremony in April three years after first going public with their relationship.
However, just one month before the nuptials, it emerged at the weekend that they had called off the wedding, after they had a ‘blowup argument’ during their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Bahamas.
In the wake of the split, Bayless took to his YouTube show on Wednesday to question if the NFL star had flirted with his fiancee’s friends during their bachelor and bachelorette bashes.
While the former Fox Sports star was not too bothered about the signal caller’s personal life, as a famously passionate Cowboys fan, he did express concern about how the emotional toll could affect Prescott on the field.
‘We’ve got to deal with, for me, the issue of the day – the week – the month,’ Bayless said in his latest YouTube video with his wife Ernestine.

‘And I’m not talking about pro football free agents either. That was a big deal. But we don’t do sports on this show, because she just doesn’t do sports.
‘But we are going to talk about my Dallas Cowboys quarterback – Rayne Dakota Prescott. Dak Prescott.’
Bayless then began to detail the situation of the headline-making split to his wife before adding: ‘The point is this: I only care about it as a football fan. I’m concerned about performance. How will it impact him on the football field?’
He continued: ‘The point is that he was so happy last year. We went 7-9-1, so we didn’t even win half of our games, right?
‘And he had a big first two-thirds of the year. I’m not sure about the end of it. I think he c***ped out, if you want to know the truth.’
Bayless went on to take issue with the concept of bachelor and bachelorette parties, branding them ‘disgusting.’
‘I don’t know where the tradition started. First of all, I’ve never heard of a joint one, because the tradition – especially in this country – has been for the guys, I grew up with this, was: “Well, if you’re going to get hitched,” as they used to say, “you’ve got to go have a big blowout with all your buddies.”
‘And you’ve got to have prostitutes and everybody’s got to have one last [blowout]. It’s terrible. I don’t know where it started.

‘I never have understood it before. I don’t know. It seems like if you’ve decided to commit to this woman, the last thing you’d want to do is go screw around with somebody – or get a blowjob from a prostitute.’
He questioned whether Prescott had been inappropriate with any of Ramos’s friends during their joint bash.
‘When you’re that popular, when you’re that big a celebrity, you’re going to have a lot of quote-unquote friends. And they invited all of them, because it was a big bash,’ he said.
‘And then I wondered: was there some issue with him flirting with some of them?’
Ernestine, however, was adamant that the couple would be back together before the start of the new NFL season, which eased Bayless’s fears for his team.
He likened the situation to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is happily married to his wife Kelly. The couple share four daughters who joined their dad on stage last month when he was awarded MVP at the NFL Honors.
‘As my mother said, unless you live with people you don’t know what their life is,’ Ernestine interjected. ‘Everything appears to be wonderful.
‘Tom Brady and Gisele were wonderful for so long, and then she couldn’t take it anymore. They were the picture-perfect couple – gorgeous model, gorgeous quarterback, beautiful kids – and then they’re belly up.’

Bayless replied: ‘Dak never struck me as a serial dater type. He wants to be with the woman. He was with a woman a long time before this. So it just seemed like stability.
‘He was such a proud dad. I’m sure he’s still a proud dad. But all I know is, for the sake of those two very young girls, I hope you’re right.’
Infidelity fears were the driving force behind the 11th-hour drama, according to a report from Page Six.
However, a source close to the couple also revealed to the Daily Mail that Ramos feared married life would leave her miserable, with Prescott also struggling under pressure to reach a Super Bowl with the Cowboys.
‘Sarah realized that is how the relationship was going and she had to get out before it was too late,’ the source said. ‘She chose her wellbeing over misery in a loveless marriage.’
