MonoLab Studio’s adaptive reuse of the structure preserves the building’s original structural robustness while introducing innovative design elements that embody the tension between security and transparency — both of which are core themes in modern financial architecture. The facade immediately captures attention with its ultra-thin onyx laminated between glass panels. The arrangement serves as a visual metaphor for the convergence of tradition and innovation and a functional element that modulates light to create dynamic interior atmospheres. Within the space, thoughtful interventions like a double-height entry portal, terracotta-clad reception area, and a cantilevered meeting pod 25 meters above the vault floor enhance user experience without compromising the building’s industrial character.
