The Consent Soap, created by students from BINUS University, is an educational hygiene product designed to help individuals with cognitive disabilities learn about bodily autonomy through everyday routines. Developed for the 2025 D&AD New Blood Awards, the soap comes in three distinct colors—red, orange, and green—each signaling different levels of personal boundary. Red stands for areas that should not be touched, orange indicates areas where help may be needed but only from trusted individuals, and green represents parts of the body that are generally safe to clean independently.

This color-coded system introduces a simple, intuitive way to reinforce the concept of consent during bathing, a time when physical boundaries are often most vulnerable. By integrating these cues into a daily ritual, Consent Soap empowers users with a better understanding of their own bodies while also offering caregivers a respectful way to guide safe and appropriate hygiene habits.
