AOT STUDIO presented the Homey exhibition during the 3daysofdesign festival in Copenhagen, and the showcase offered a distinctive approach to sustainable design by presenting a new lighting collection crafted entirely from recycled medical plastic.
AOT STUDIO opened its private residence, which was located in one of Copenhagen’s historic buildings, as an immersive showcase space. Visitors were allowed to experience their handcrafted lamps within an authentic domestic environment. The collection demonstrated AOT’s experimental material philosophy through an innovative casting technique that transforms shredded medical vials into translucent, textured sheets, which are then shaped into organic lighting forms — from table lamps and pendants to a statement chandelier. Each piece, made out of recycled medical plastic, retains unique imperfections from the manual production process.
