Clean the Sky – Sustainable Dry Cargo Ships

Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

Longship is scaling up its commitment to sustainable maritime transport with a confirmed order for four additional PMAX ECO TRADER vessels—doubling its original 2024 order and bringing the total to eight ships. These advanced 6,000 dwt dry cargo vessels will be constructed through a strategic collaboration between GS Projects and Ship and Steelbuilding (SaS).

The PMAX ECO TRADER series is engineered for next-generation performance, integrating fuel-efficient propulsion systems and environmentally responsible technologies. These vessels are designed to significantly lower emissions and operating costs, aligning with Longship’s long-term sustainability strategy and its ambition to modernize its fleet.

Notably, the ships manufactured as a part of this initiative will feature DMC’s ‘plug & play’ Piston RAM-type steering systems, Barke rudders, and Optima nozzles.
