Anu Drinkware, a company based in Montana, has launched its home compostable straws at Yellowstone National Park, giving visitors an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic straws. Made from plant-based PHA, these straws are designed to break down naturally in home composting systems without harming the environment.
The straws are now available at concession stands and park service stations throughout the park. With millions of people visiting Yellowstone each year, the switch to compostable straws helps reduce plastic waste in one of the country’s most treasured natural spaces.
Anu’s straws are designed to perform just like regular plastic ones but are completely plastic-free and biodegradable. This move supports ongoing efforts to protect parks and wildlife by offering sustainable alternatives that don’t compromise on quality or convenience, making it easier for visitors to make environmentally responsible choices during their stay.
