CleaDeep, a leading kitchen appliance brand, has launched its new P1 range hood series to fight harmful pollutants caused by cooking in home kitchens. These pollutants, often called the ‘invisible killer,’ come from oil fumes released during high-heat cooking methods like pan-frying and grilling. Studies show that people regularly exposed to these fumes are nearly four times more likely to develop lung cancer compared to those with minimal exposure.
These health risks are linked to toxic chemicals such as “heterocyclic amines (HCAs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), which form when proteins, sugars, and fats are exposed to high temperatures.”
Traditional range hoods often fail to fully capture these fumes, letting smoke and odors remain in the kitchen. To address this, CleaDeep “developed the P1 with Inclined Quad-Vortex (IQV) technology—based on industrial systems—and partnered with fluid dynamics expert Professor Rong Fung Huang to create a more powerful and effective home ventilation solution.”
