Clean the Sky – Low-Carbon Construction Partnerships

Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

Carbon Upcycling Technologies Inc. and TITAN Group formalized a Memorandum of Agreement on June 4, 2025, to evaluate the commercial application of Carbon Upcycling’s patented carbon utilization technology at two TITAN cement plants. The collaboration builds on TITAN’s previous equity investment in Carbon Upcycling and aims to produce low-carbon supplementary cementitious materials by upcycling captured CO₂ emissions and locally available industrial by-products. Technical feasibility studies will assess process integration, material performance, and supply-chain logistics, with the objective of strengthening regional cement supply chains and reducing the lifecycle carbon footprint of concrete production.

The partnership includes plans to scale up production of CO₂-enhanced cementitious solutions in alignment with TITAN Group’s Green Growth Strategy 2026, which targets a doubling of low-carbon product sales compared to 2022 and net-zero emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3 by 2050. Carbon Upcycling’s demonstration plant in Western Canada is already producing commercial CO₂-enhanced materials, and the company is advancing a flagship commercial-scale facility in Eastern Canada. Through shared technical development, project financing, and operational expertise, both organizations intend to establish a replicable model for circular, low-carbon construction materials within the global cement industry.
