Clean the Sky – Expanded Food Waste Solutions

Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

Canberra residents looking to adopt sustainable consumption practices will rejoice with the launch of Too Good To Go, an innovative app connecting users to discounted “surprise bags” of food that would otherwise go to landfill. Already backed by major Australian brands like Roll’d and Bakers Delight, Too Good To Go has welcomed its first independent Canberra partner—Three Mills Bakery—which joined the platform in early April.

Through the app, users can browse daily listings from local food suppliers and snag bags priced at just $9.99, packed with items worth around $30. Beyond cutting food waste, this initiative offers a lifeline for families facing the cost-of-living crunch, making affordable, quality food more accessible while championing sustainability.

“The team is delighted to introduce Too Good to Go to the nation’s capital, a region that’s demonstrated strong environmental stewardship while supporting local restaurants and producers,” says Australian company director Joost Rietveld.
