Monarch Tractor has introduced autonomous feed pushing for its MK-V electric tractor — the first fully autonomous feature available in driver-optional farming equipment. This advancement enables dairy farms to automate 24/7 feed distribution, boosting milk production while reducing diesel emissions and alleviating labour shortages. To date, the MK-V has logged over 42,000 field hours, deployed more than 400 units, and offset upwards of 850 tonnes of COâ‚‚.
The tractor is equipped with advanced features, including 360-degree cameras, collision prevention systems, and human detection technology. Its WingspanAI fleet management platform enables remote monitoring and control from anywhere in the world. Additionally, the MK-V serves as a mobile power wall, offering multiple voltage outputs for various farm operations. This innovation aligns with the growing trend toward agricultural automation, enabling farms to tackle sustainability goals and address workforce constraints. Beyond dairy, its applications span specialty crop sectors, including vineyards, orchards, blueberry farms, and solar farm maintenance.
