The Kelly Eastwood collection is a 13-piece capsule of hats, bags and charms co-designed by Kelly Eastwood and Sensi Studio, each item handwoven by female artisans in Ecuador using time-honored techniques. Materials include 100 % toquilla straw—valued for its flexibility and strength—and, on select styles, sustainably sourced cow-leather handles. Every piece is named after a woman in Eastwood’s life, weaving personal narrative into design while preserving artisanal craftsmanship inherited through generations.
Sustainability is central to the collection’s ethos. Toquilla straw is a rapidly renewable plant fiber that requires minimal processing and no synthetic coatings or chemical finishes, ensuring both biodegradability and low environmental impact. Select charms utilize tagua nut—a cruelty-free, plant-based alternative to ivory—further reducing reliance on animal products. By manufacturing locally in Ecuador, the collaboration minimizes transportation emissions, supports fair-wage artisan communities and safeguards traditional handweaving skills.
