Serving as a hub for AI research, collaboration, and real-world testing, the lab will focus on advancing autonomous control systems, predictive models, and physics-informed neural networks to reduce emissions and improve operational efficiency.

Guided by principles of ethical AI, product innovation, and sustainability, the BrainBox AI Lab will transform breakthrough ideas into practical, deployable solutions for the built environment and refrigerated transport. Multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and AI specialists will collaborate with universities and research institutions to set new industry benchmarks. The launch follows Trane Technologies’ 2025 acquisition of BrainBox AI, reinforcing its mission to accelerate the digital transformation of energy management and meet its 2030 Sustainability Commitments.
