The Phase Evo LE is Orange Bikes’ entry-level lightweight e-mountain bike, featuring Bosch’s Performance Line SX motor paired with a Bosch Compact Tube 400 Wh battery. Built around a 6061-T6 monocoque aluminium frame, it delivers 160 mm of travel front and rear and rides on a mixed-wheel “MX” setup (29 in front, 27.5 in rear) to balance rolling momentum with agility. The bike incorporates an eMTB Dynamic Ride Mode with Extended Boost for seamless power delivery, integrates an on-board SAFE compartment for tools and essentials, and connects to the eBike Flow App for ride data and firmware updates. With a claimed weight from 19.5 kg (size L, Factory build) and an RRP starting at £7,900, the Phase Evo LE aims to bring enduro capability in a more analog-feeling chassis.
Orange’s chassis evolution emphasizes sensitivity and support through a revised lower shock mount that accommodates a 205 × 65 mm trunnion-mount Fox Float X2 shock, paired with a 160 mm Fox Factory 36 fork. The frame’s asymmetric swingarm increases vertical stiffness while tuning lateral compliance, and a tapered head tube boosts front-end rigidity for precise handling. Shortened seat-tube lengths allow for longer dropper posts, and integrated cable routing preserves the clean lines of Orange’s iconic single-pivot design. A five-year frame warranty, limited lifetime crash replacement, and compatibility with Bosch’s optional 250 Wh PowerMore range extender further enhance its versatility for trail and enduro riding.
