Chicago woman’s fury on discovering husband had side-wife in PALESTINE and that he’d built mansion for her to luxuriate in

A Chicago woman was outraged after discovering her tax preparer husband had a second wife in Palestine who was living a life of luxury, court documents revealed.

Sharhabeel Shreiteh’s infidelity was thrust into the spotlight after he was indicted on federal charges for a $14 million fraud scheme pertaining to coronavirus relief loans.

Shrieteh, 46, received roughly $740,000 in kickbacks from the scheme which he spent on lush vacations and home renovations, according to a sentencing memo obtained by the Daily Mail.

He sent hundreds of thousands of dollars to Palestine, where his second wife resides, and built her a mansion, the filing stated. He also purchased a Mercedes.

His outrageous spending left his American wife Hania Atiq Shreiteh, 52, furious, the prosecution suggested, citing text messages she allegedly sent him in July 2021.

‘You suck!’ Atiq Shreiteh wrote. ‘I bust my a** for 13 years and don’t have like she gets without working for it!!!…You gave her kids, a villa, now fancy cars??!!

‘To the point you are helping her show off her American husband and gonna buy her a Mercedes jeep??!!! I’m so sick and tired of being lied to by you!!!’ she added.

It is unclear if Shreiteh is legally married to his second wife. He has not been charged with bigamy.

Despite his cheating and law-breaking, long-suffering Atiq appears to have taken her wayward spouse back.

They celebrated their 17 year anniversary last July, she revealed in an Instagram post commemorating their relationship and her ‘wonderful husband.’

‘We’ve had ups and downs but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I hope we have many more blessed, healthy, happy years together,’ she wrote, adding: ‘I love you dearly.’

Atiq Shreiteh, who runs a beauty supply store in the Chicago suburbs, boasts in her Instagram bio how her husband and daughter are ‘my life.’

She is the sole owner of the 2,484 square-foot home that she and Shreiteh reside in, Will County property records revealed.

Atiq Shreiteh purchased the home in 2015 for $125,000, but it is now worth $325,542. Shreiteh has been associated with the address since his wife purchased the home.

Shreiteh does not appear to own any property domestic, according to public records. It is unclear if he still owns property in Palestine or if he remains in contact with his second wife.

The tax expert was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison on Tuesday after he plead guilty to one count of wire fraud for his role in the Paycheck Protection Program scam.

The judge, in her sentencing memorandum, described level of fraud he perpetrated as ‘staggering.’

He wept as the judge handed down his sentence and apologized to his family and the court ‘for the harm’ he caused, the Chicago Tribune reported
