The remaining 16 teams in the Champions League now know who they will face in the knockouts – and their potential routes to glory. 

Friday’s draw in Nyon was eagerly followed and Arsenal will undoubtedly consider themselves the biggest winners. 

The Gunners look as though they’ve landed an ideal run to the final, facing Bayer Leverkusen before a quarter-final against one of Bodo/Glimt or Sporting Lisbon before a semi-final against Barcelona, Newcastle, Atletico Madrid or Tottenham. 

Meanwhile, Man City face Real Madrid and Liverpool take on Galatasaray, having lost to the Turkish side in the group phase.
