Last month, Chappell won widespread praise after hastily leaving Casey Wasserman’s talent agency when his name was found multiple times in the Epstein files, largely for his flirtatious email exchanges with Epstein’s accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, in the early ‘00s. Casey has expressed regret over his past involvement with Ghislaine in a statement shared earlier this year: “I deeply regret my correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell, which took place over two decades ago, long before her horrific crimes came to light.”

Ghislaine is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence after being convicted of sex trafficking of a minor and other charges in 2021. Epstein, a convicted child sex offender, died in prison in 2019.
