Loam Bio, an agricultural technology company based in Orange, Australia, has launched a new product called FurrowMate, designed to make farming more efficient and sustainable. The unit attaches directly to air seeders and delivers biological products straight into the soil during planting. This process helps farmers integrate soil-enhancing treatments into their regular seeding operations without adding extra steps.
Loam Bio is well known for its work in microbial technology that captures carbon and improves soil health. By combining these innovations with everyday seeding practices, FurrowMate gives growers a practical way to boost productivity while supporting long-term soil resilience and sustainability.
“Growers using our CarbonBuilder product identified the need for an easier application, and we listened, working hard behind the scenes to bring this tech to life,” said Andrew Godwin, Loam Bio’s Engineering Manager.
