Joao Teixeira designed the Wire Chair concept, which is a unique silhouette that blends the function of a chair and side table together into one piece. The entire model is supported by a thin tube made with metal which bends and loops to hold up a seat made from plywood. It also holds a compact side table and is entirely solitary in design.

The tube is only 30mm in diameter and it does all the work seemingly. Carefully curving, it supports the main section of the seat and table attached to showcase its visual harmony. There is also a spot to hold books and magazines for when users are lounging and it keeps items within arm’s reach.
