Jessica Gunning is getting candid about her intimacy journey.

The Baby Reindeer star recently revealed why she waited 36 years to lose her virginity.

“I think it’s because I’ve never been in a relationship before,” the 40-year-old shared in an interview with The Times published March 21. “With anyone. Well, not to get too deep, but it was probably that I didn’t want to go out with guys and so I was finding a way to avoid it.”

Indeed, Jessica—who came out as gay in 2022—found a way to make special connections without the intimacy aspect.  

“I never knew how to flirt, I didn’t get it,” she explained. “And I was always friends with guys and would set them up with other friends. In a way it was, like, ‘Great, because I’m not interested.’” 

Though Jessica wasn’t sexually active, she admitted that it wasn’t a lonely period for her.
