The ASUS GeForce RTX 5080 Noctua Edition is a quad-slot graphics card developed in partnership with Noctua, featuring three NF-A12x25 G2 120 mm fans mounted on a custom-engineered heatsink with a large vapour chamber and eleven heatpipes (seven 8 mm and four 6 mm). Each fan is slightly speed-offset to prevent acoustic beat frequencies, and the fin-stack is optimized for maximum airflow and thermal dissipation. The card measures 385 mm in length, 151 mm in width, and 80 mm in height, weighing approximately 2.6 kg, and it requires four open PCIe slots and sturdy in-chassis support. Semi-passive 0 dB cooling stops fan operation below 50 °C, and a dual-BIOS switch offers Quiet and Performance modes for user-selectable noise or thermal tuning.
Built on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, the RTX 5080 Noctua Edition delivers 1858 AI TOPS alongside 16 GB of 30 Gbps GDDR7 memory, with a factory overclock boosting the GPU to 2730 MHz in OC mode versus a 2700 MHz default clock. The card uses phase-change thermal pads for stable heat transfer over long-term operation and includes ASUS GPU Tweak III software for custom fan curves and undervolting. 0 dB technology halts fans below 50 °C, and the dual-BIOS design lets users choose between minimal acoustic output or maximum thermal headroom.
