EoS Fitness is integrating an artificial intelligence platform known as EGYM Genius across its facilities. This positions the fitness center chain as the first major gym operator in the United States to do so.

EGYM Genius claims to generate customized exercise regimens for members by analyzing their individual objectives and current physical conditioning, while also taking into account the particular inventory of apparatus available at each specific gym location. This system interfaces with EoS Fitness’ existing line of smart exercise machines. The software solution is intended to function alongside human personal trainers, ostensibly by handling the administrative aspects of workout planning to free up trainers for more interactive coaching roles.

The initial deployment of EGYM Genius will occur in a limited number of EoS Fitness sites, with plans for a broader national expansion.
