Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences has partnered with CoVet, an AI-driven clinical documentation platform, to integrate advanced artificial intelligence tools into veterinary education and practice. This 12-month pilot program will provide students, faculty, and clinicians with CoVet’s AI-powered scribing and decision-support tools.
The aim behind this partnership is to streamline administrative tasks such as medical record-keeping, consultation transcriptions, and client communications. Thus, the initiative seeks to enhance clinical efficiency while ensuring that future veterinarians are proficient in leveraging AI responsibly within their profession. Due to its ability to automate time-consuming documentation processes, the collaboration also has the added benefit of potentially reducing burnout and allowing veterinary professionals to dedicate more attention to patient care and hands-on training.
