The Flint Wines office interior rethinks circulation and storytelling by transforming a once-narrow, underused London workspace into a welcoming, design-led environment. Mowat & Company reconfigured the layout to distinguish public tasting areas from back-of-house functions, introducing a tasting room that opens directly onto the street and enhances natural light while engaging clientele.
Central to the design is a reception-tasting area framed by fluted glass and oak joinery, anchored by a striking marble spittoon carved from Burgundian stone—an evocative symbol of the brand’s roots and identity. At the rear, a stepped garden planting scheme restores daylight and visual connection to greenery while greening the narrow courtyard. Oak cabinetry with lighting and drilled display niches showcases selected wine bottles as both storage and visual narrative, reinforcing Flint’s heritage and expertise.
