This initiative builds upon its predecessor — Project Playground — by offering a comprehensive suite of tools, including accessibility assessment frameworks, technical guidelines for developers and designers, and immersive elements like real-user narratives and interactive simulations. These components collectively aim to bridge the gap between accessibility theory and implementation.

GovTech Singapore’s A11y Playground will help organizations create digital services that accommodate diverse user needs without neglecting persons with disabilities and seniors. The innovation was launched during Inclusive Design Week 2025, and the platform reflects Singapore’s strategic push toward Smart Nation 2.0 goals. The inclusion of first-person stories and gamified challenges serves to cultivate empathy among tech professionals, while the technical checklist provides actionable steps for aligning products with accessibility standards.
