Don’t miss these top deals from Amazon’s Big Spring Sale

After a long, snowy winter, finally being able to say “it’s spring” feels pretty great. But beyond the warmer weather (and baseball), it also means one thing: Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is back.

Unlike Prime Day, which usually lands in the summer and fall, this sale is open to everyone. No Prime membership needed. So if you’re looking to get a head start on spring and gear up for summer, it’s a great time to score some solid tech deals. The sale runs now through March 31.

Here are five of the best deals I’ve spotted so far, covering everything from streaming devices and headphones to laptops and more.

Best streaming deal: Fire TV Stick 4K Max

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is the streaming device I use daily to watch shows, movies, and play games on my TV, and it truly offers everything you could want in a compact streaming device. It’s currently on sale for $35 — $25 off its regular price of $60.

The 4K Max supports all the latest streaming features, such as HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, and comes with 16GB of storage, so you have plenty of space for apps. It also has Wi-Fi 6E, allowing you to stream smoothly in 4K.

While Amazon offers two other 4K streaming sticks, the 4K Plus and 4K Select, the 4K Max is the best value in my opinion, thanks to its enhanced feature set, and you can’t beat the sale price of $35.

Best e-reader deal: Kindle Paperwhite

Holding a 2024 Kindle Paperwhite.

I bought my very first Kindle last year, and it’s easily one of my favorite tech purchases I’ve ever made. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy buying and reading physical books, but having the option to read anything digitally is incredibly convenient, especially when you’re traveling and don’t want to carry around a stack of books. That’s why I think the Kindle Paperwhite, on sale for $155 during the Big Spring Sale, is well worth considering.

It features a 7-inch glare-free display, 16GB of storage, and a battery that can last up to 12 weeks on a single charge. It also supports wireless charging, which is a nice bonus. More importantly, it has an IPX8 waterproof rating, so you can take it to the beach or read by the pool without worrying about it getting a little wet.

The newest generation of the Kindle Paperwhite comes in an ultra-thin design with a glare-free screen that’s larger than its predecessors. With up to 12 weeks of battery life, waterproof safety, and free cloud storage, this e-reader can go wherever you do and take your whole library there as well.

Best TV deal: Hisense 55-inch Mini-LED 4K TV

If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your TV, this Big Spring Sale deal on the 55-inch Hisense QD7 Series Mini-LED 4K TV might be exactly what you’ve been waiting for. It’s currently down to $300, a hefty $200 off its usual $500 price, and it packs in a lot for the money.

It uses mini-LED technology, which means better brightness, improved contrast, and stronger HDR performance compared to a standard LED TV. It also runs on Amazon’s Fire TV platform, so you can jump straight into all your favorite streaming apps right out of the box.

On top of that, you’re getting support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, plus a dedicated Game Mode for consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X. That unlocks features like VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), helping deliver smoother, more responsive gameplay.

Best laptop deal: M4 MacBook Air

Although Apple recently released its new M5 MacBook Air, this deal on the 13-inch M4 MacBook Air is simply too good to ignore. Right now, it’s down to $950, a solid $250 off its regular price of $1,200. And sure, it’s last year’s model, but at this price, you’re getting serious value.

For starters, it’s powered by Apple’s M4 chip, which is more than capable of handling just about anything you throw at it, from photo and video editing to streaming, web browsing, and even some gaming. You also get 16GB of RAM, so if you’re anything like me and tend to juggle a bunch of apps at once, it’ll keep everything running smoothly without slowing down.

On top of that, there’s 512GB of SSD storage, giving you plenty of room for files, apps, photos, videos, and games. Yes, $950 is still a lot to spend on a laptop, but if you’re after something reliable that you won’t need to replace anytime soon, this is the kind of machine you’ll get your money’s worth from.

Best headphone deal: Sennheiser Accentume

If you’re like me, there isn’t a day that goes by that you’re not listening to music or watching videos with headphones on. And if you’re looking to upgrade that experience, this deal on the Sennheiser Accentum Wireless Bluetooth Headphones is hard to pass up. Right now, they’re down to $100 — $90 off their regular price of $190.

What I like about these Sennheiser headphones is the battery life. You get up to 50 hours of playtime, so you’re not constantly reaching for a charger. They also feature hybrid active noise-cancelling (ANC), which does a great job of cutting down on background noise when you want to focus or just tune everything out.

There’s also a built-in microphone for taking calls, and they’re lightweight at under 0.48 lbs, so you can wear them comfortably for hours without any issue.
