Bozoma "Boz" Saint John is deep into wedding planning with her fiancé, Keely Watson.
While chatting with PEOPLE at the 2026 TIME Women of the Year Gala, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 49, revealed that Watson has been "very involved" in wedding planning.
Still, she quipped that she's not sure "if that's a good thing or a bad thing."
"It's a good thing, but then he has opinions, and then you have to compromise. You know what I'm saying? Who wants to do that?" she said.

Boz highlighted that the pair recently did a walkthrough of a potential wedding venue and were discussing which side of the room they would build the stage and altar on — and Watson had some big opinions.
"Where I feel like, if I was doing the walkthrough by myself, I would just make these calls. I'm a businesswoman. I'm used to making the call quickly, move on," she explained. "Now I have to compromise."
"So this is just foreshadowing marriage. And so I'm trying to get used to all of the ways that I am going to be a wife again," Boz continued.
The reality star and former Netflix executive, who was previously married to Peter Saint John for 10 years until his death from cancer in December 2013, said she's "relearning the muscle" of being a wife amid her engagement to Watson.
"I'm not hiding any bags in my trunk or asking anybody permission to buy a house," she joked. "And so it's the idea of partnership with an adult, not with my child, that is the big difference. So I'm relearning the muscle, but I feel good in it."

Boz is mom to a 16-year-old daughter, Lael, whom she welcomed with her late husband.

As for whether she is open to the idea of sharing her wedding with fans on TV, Boz told PEOPLE, "I'm open to it because one of the weddings will be a Ghanaian wedding, traditional on the continent in Ghana, and we don't often see those weddings."
"They're very different from Western weddings, so I think we should celebrate other cultures and show people all around the world how we do it in Ghana," she added.
Boz was born in the United States to Ghanaian parents and spent part of her childhood living in Ghana, as well as Nairobi, Kenya.
She became a Ghanaian citizen in 2022, per Ebony.

The Bravo star and Watson — who met through Boz's relationship with artist Harmonia Rosales, who is married to Watson's nephew — got engaged in a surprise proposal at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, Calif., on Aug. 29, 2025.
"This engagement is my testimony: you can rise from grief, reclaim your joy, and still find a love worthy of your 'yes,' " she told PEOPLE at the time. "Keely is proof that God’s timing is perfect — and so is His plan. I’m saying yes to life, to love and to the miracle of second chances."
Boz said she was "very surprised" when Watson — armed with "a mega bouquet" of 100 roses and a custom-designed diamond ring — popped the question.
"Even though I knew we wanted to get married, I wasn’t sure where or when Keely would ask," she told PEOPLE. "I am still in shock and disbelief. I was nervous because I thought about how it would be when he asked, and I wanted to be able to be composed through it, but that was hard to do because my emotions were at an all-time high."
