Horror as gas bottle explosion leaves man with catastrophic injuries in Chester Hill


A man has been seriously injured following a gas bottle explosion in Western Sydney.

NSW Ambulance said the male, in his 50s, suffered injuries to his face and legs on Grevillea Road, Chester Hill just before 12.30pm on Monday.

‘We had four resources on the scene including an aeromedical team with critical care paramedics,’ a spokesman said. 

He was transported to Royal North Shore Hospital and in a stable condition.
