The New York Giants are set to add another weapon to their arsenal by signing wide receiver Darnell Mooney.
The 28-year-old is a free agent after spending the last two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, where he played 31 games after signing a three-year, $39million contract.
Now, as reported by ESPN, Mooney is headed to New York after the Giants reached an agreement with his agents on Saturday.
He will now become a target for Jaxson Dart as the Giants look to build a winning team under new head coach John Harbaugh.
Mooney was one of the most coveted receivers on the free agency market and he is expected to sign a one-year deal worth up to $10million, according to NFL Network.
Mooney began his NFL career with the Chicago Bears after being selected in the fifth round – 173rd overall – in the 2020 NFL Draft.

John Harbaugh is making his presence felt as head coach of the New York Giants
The news come days after Harbaugh raided his former Baltimore Ravens team by swooping for tight end Isaiah Likely and punter Jordan Stout.
The pair both entered free agency after their Ravens deals expired and have now moved to join their former head coach at the New York Giants.
Likely will line up alongside quarterback Dart, running back Cam Skattebo and wide receiver Malik Nabers, who is on the comeback trail after tearing his ACL early in the 2025 campaign.
The 25-year-old is said to have agreed a three-year deal worth up to $47m. It was reported that Likely had interest from all over the NFL but wanted to join the Giants.
The Ravens had tried to get Likely to agree a new deal in Baltimore over the past 12 months but the two parties couldn’t agree on terms.
