Sarah Jane Ramos is setting the record straight. 

After it was announced that she and fiancé Dak Prescott had called off their engagement one month before their wedding, Sarah responded to rumors the couple had broken up over a prenup. 

The Tampa Bay native commented on a March 9 Instagram post from the Speakeasy Talk Show in which hosts Emmanuel Acho and LeSean McCoy discussed the speculation, including a screenshot of a text which alleged Dak had been pushing for a prenup that Sarah had refused to sign. 

However, as she explained in the comments, “This had nothing to do with a prenup. I hope we can put that rumor to rest now.”

Sarah—who is mom to children Margaret, 2, and Aurora, 9 months, with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback—didn’t share a reason for the split, but as her rep had previously said, Sarah and Dak were “both heartbroken that they’re not getting married.”

“There wasn’t any rockiness in the lead up, and there was no big argument or blow up,” the rep added in a March 9 statement to People. “It was a mutual decision.”
