Disturbing reports about a primary school student ‘celebrating’ the deaths of the Bondi terror attack have surfaced amid budget estimates.
The shocking claim about the student from Granville South Public School, west Sydney, was tabled during a hearing on Wednesday.
Reports differ with some claiming just one student was involved while others allege multiple students ‘celebrated’.
It was labelled one of ‘at least 100 anti semitic incidents’ in NSW public schools since early 2024.
It’s understood the incident was reported to the Department of Education’s hotline.

When asked about the apparent incident by Independent Sydney MLC Tania Mihailuk, Secretary of the NSW Department of Education Murat Dizdar said he wasn’t informed of it but would have been notified if it wasn’t properly handled.
