3 Most Popular Netflix Movies Right Now (February 24-28): 10×10 and More

You may have noticed that the most popular Netflix movies right now are dominated by action flicks.

Unlike some weeks, the new arrivals are high-octane theatrical films like Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, which is slated to make its Netflix debut this week.

That film is leading the Watch With Us team’s picks for the three most popular Netflix movies right now that you need to watch.

Our remaining selections include a tense thriller and another chart-topping action film that’s doing much better in streaming than it ever did in theaters.

Netflix is giving the best Valentine’s gift for its many, many subscribers — a library full of hit movies and TV shows to binge-watch. That library grows a bit bigger in February, when the streamer adds at least one must-see new movie and/or irresistible show practically every day. At the top of Watch With Us‘ […]

‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning’ (2023)

Ordinarily, running into a master thief like Grace (Hayley Atwell) might be fun for Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team. Unfortunately for everyone, the stakes are simply too high in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, and Grace has no idea that she’s just walked into an operation that may empower The Entity, a self-aware AI that is rapidly expanding its influence in the real world.

Whether Ethan likes it or not, he needs Grace alive. But with The Entity acting through Ethan’s nemesis, Gabriel Martinelli (Esai Morales), Ethan’s team — Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg) and Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames) — are in the crosshairs of a nearly omnipotent machine that gets to decide which of them will live and which ones will die. Ethan can’t protect all of them at once, and that may have fatal consequences.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning will stream on Netflix on February 25.

’10×10′ (2018)

10×10 is a British thriller, and its name refers to the dimensions of a room where almost the entirety of the film takes place. Luke Evans stars as an enigmatic man named Robert Lewis, and before the audience can even settle into the movie, he’s kidnapped a woman named Cathy Noland (Yellowstone actress Kelly Reilly) and placed her inside a tiny room so he can interrogate her.

We can’t really explain why Robert is doing this without giving away major spoilers. The short version is that he’s trying to get a specific response from Cathy, but she’s far from being a passive prisoner. She may not even be who or what she appears to be, but the film does its best to keep the audience questioning which character deserves their sympathy more. Robert’s made an impressive prison, but he may be the one trapped with Cathy rather than the other way around.

‘Expendables 4’ (2023)

Just when you think the Expendables franchise has run out of steam, the fourth movie debuts at No. 1 on Netflix’s movie chart. That’s impressive, because Expendables 4 isn’t quite as packed with stars and action icons as the previous three films were. Sylvester Stallone‘s Barney Ross headlined the first three movies, but he passes the torch here to Jason Statham‘s Lee Christmas as the franchise’s new main character.

Lee’s team is inexperienced compared to previous iterations of the Expendables. To make matters worse, Lee’s been sidelined while his ex-girlfriend, Gina (Megan Fox), has replaced him on a mission to find Ocelot, a madman who wants to start a nuclear war between America and Russia. That’s not a battle that Lee is going to stay out of for long, and the fate of the world may be in his hands.
