A woman, who once identified as a transgender man, has been found not guilty of repeatedly assaulting a woman with a prosthetic penis.
Zainab Jamshaid, 20, was accused of repeatedly assaulting the woman with the prosthetic device specially designed for the transgender community.
A court heard during a violent and turbulent relationship, Jamshaid would allegedly use it to sexually assault the woman despite her pleas for him to stop.
The jury was told he would punch and strangle the woman and was coercive and controlling towards her.
Jamshaid, a 20-year-old student, went on trial charged with common assault, sexual assault with a prosthetic penis, strangulation and coercive and controlling behaviour.
Hove Crown Court was told the pair enjoyed a ‘perfect’ relationship when they first met.
The jury heard Jamshaid was very manipulative and their relationship became controlling.
The alleged victim told a court she was beaten and hit repeatedly and claimed she wept as she begged him to stop.

The teenager told the court Jamshaid would wear the prosthetic penis almost all the time and used it to assault her.
She said the couple had a safe word – Pink – they could use if they wanted to sexual situation to stop.
She said she repeatedly used their safe word only for Jamshaid to ignore it and laugh at her.
The teenager also told the court that during their relationship she had also been punched in the face, hit in the face with a wine bottle and attacked with a math’s compass.
Jamshaid went on trial during which time the court heard the couple had a consensual sado-masochistic relationship.
The jury retired yesterday and after nine hours of deliberation the jury found the defendant not guilty of all 13 charges.
Jamshaid, from Bradford, was assigned female at birth but was identifying as a man at the time he met the complainant at college.
Jamshaid, who now identifies as a woman again, wept as the verdicts were delivered.
Judge Adrian Chaplin told her it would be wise for her not to contact the former girlfriend but stressed he had no power to make a legal ruling.
He told her she was free to go and Jamshaid left without making a comment.
