Two of the greatest boxers of the 21st Century will face off against each other once again in a long anticipated sequel bout.
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have been confirmed to fight in Las Vegas on September 19 at ‘The Sphere’ off the strip in Sin City.
The bout is set to be globally broadcast on Netflix as part of the streamer’s growing investment into live sports.
This fight has been announced just days after Mayweather indicated his intentions to return to professional boxing after being out of the game since August 2017.
Mayweather, 49, is set to fight against Mike Tyson, 59, in an exhibition bout this spring. A date and location has not yet been confirmed.
Meanwhile Pacquiao, 47, is returning to the ring after losing his senate seat and unsuccessfully running for President of The Philippines in 2022. Pacquiao earned less than seven percent of the vote and lost to current leader Bongbong Marcos.

Floyd Mayweather (L) and Manny Pacquiao (R) will fight again 11 years after their first bout

Mayweather, 49, is set to come out of retirement to fight professionally after his planned exhibition bout against 59-year-old Mike Tyson this spring

Meanwhile, Pacquiao came out of retirement for a professional bout in July 2025
Pacquiao is also set to have a warm-up fight against Ruslan Provodnikov on April 18 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The re-match between Mayweather and Pacquiao comes over a decade after they last faced off in 2015.
Mayweather beat Pacquiao by unanimous decision in that fight, which failed to live up to the hype it had received.
This will be Mayweather’s first professional fight since 2017, when he defeated Conor McGregor by knockout.
As for Pacquiao, he ended his short four-year retirement last July when he fought then-WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios to a majority draw.
Particulars of the bout – including weight class and the number of rounds involved – have not yet been released.
