So many of you make the mistake of not thinking like your audience and not communicating with them as they want.
How to Get More Interviews: Be Different
If you want more interviews, think like an employer. How does your resume match up with what they say they want? Is it obvious? If they were a six-year-old looking at your resume, could they see the fit or are you making them think?
They are busy, you know that! And they expect you to do the work to let them know how your background fits. And the earlier in the resume, the better off you are.
So if you want to get more interviews, and you’re applying for jobs, don’t just simply spam the same resume over and over again to every job that you see online. It doesn’t work quite obviously.
