This week, as part of its T-Mobile Tuesdays perk, the wireless carrier is offering 50% off the full price of Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select, bringing this $40 device down to just $20. This is the cheapest the Fire TV Stick 4K Select has been since 2025, and is an all-time-low-matching price.
In order to get the deal, T-Mobile subscribers need to open their T-Life app, navigate to the Tuesdays tab and then select the Fire Stick promotion. From there, tap Save to My Stuff and then Redeem. From there you will be redirected to an Amazon deals page specifically for T-Mobile subscribers. You can add the specially-priced Fire Stick to your cart, and then check out the way you normally would from Amazon. This deal, like others, is only available for a week and will be unavailable after February 23.

What is the difference between the Fire TV Stick 4K Select and other Fire Sticks?

The biggest difference between the standard Amazon Fire Stick lineup and the new 4K Select is that the latter runs Vega OS, a new Linux-based operating system developed by Amazon. The biggest difference between this and the original Fire OS is that Vega doesn’t support sideloading apps, which seems to be an effort by Amazon to crack down on piracy.
In addition to the different OS, the 4K Select has only 1GB of RAM and a quad-core processor, which puts its technical specs a bit behind the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. However, even though it might not have the most impressive hardware under the hood, if all you’re trying to do on your Fire TV Stick is stream the latest hits on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, you should be able to without much in the way of shuttering or slowdowns.
