What are they looking for in your resume? It’s simple.

Recruiters Are Not Your Friends

Four things corporate recruiters look for in a resume. The first one is relevance for the job they’re trying to fill. Tailor your resume so the fit is obvious as though a six-year-old is going to read the resume, and they’re really busy and won’t sit still. Secondly, it’s error free, accurate, no mistakes, grammar, or spelling. Run it through a spell checker or through a grammar checker. Don’t make dumb mistakes and you can get away with it. Number three is scannable. Ultimately, it has to get into their system in particular fields. Make it easy for them by not using crazy fonts. Fourth, it’s clear, it’s easy to understand what you did and how you went about doing it. And AND

you’re not using crazy jargon to make your points.
