The Canyon Deflectr RLS helmet has been developed as a protective piece of equipment for cyclists that’s engineered to help them avoid potentially life-changing injuries by harnessing advanced technologies.

The helmet features the release layer system (RLS) that allows the impact of a crash to result in panels being displaced to help reduce the trauma on the wearer. This is reported to deliver up to four-times more protection than conventional helmets to reduce the potential of a concussion when a crash happens at higher speeds.

The Canyon Deflectr RLS helmet looks like a conventional piece of cyclist safety equipment, but could help to offer enhanced peace of mind for riders who want to maximize their chance of avoiding injury.
