90 Day Fiance’s Leida Drops Petition to Legally Separate From Eric


90 Day Fiancé star Leida Margaretha and her estranged husband, Eric Rosenbrook, informed the court they were not moving forward with her effort to legally separate, Us Weekly can confirm.

Us obtained court documents filed by Margaretha, 36, and Rosenbrook, 47, on Thursday, August 28. The duo asked the court to dismiss the case brought by Margaretha on July 28.

The paperwork shows Margaretha and Rosenbrook have two different home addresses in Wisconsin.

“The above parties wish to dismiss the case without further court proceedings,” the paperwork stated.

As Us previously reported, in her initial filing, Margaretha listed the date of marriage as July 8, 2018. She told the court that the marriage with Rosenbrook was “broken.”

She claimed there had been “too many domestic abuse events.” As Us first reported, Margaretha was granted a temporary restraining order against Rosenbrook in July after he was arrested for allegedly slapping her during an argument.

On July 5, Rosenbrook was taken into custody after officers, who were looking to talk to him about the alleged assault, found him in a parked car. Officers said they asked Rosenbrook about Margaretha’s claim that he slapped her when she brought up his drinking.

Rosenbrook admitted he might have slapped his wife when talking to the police.

One court filing read, “Officer Godard asked if anything physical happened between them. After a pause, Eric stated he might’ve slapped her.”

Rosenbrook was released from custody after posting bond.

A couple of days later, Rosenbrook was officially charged by prosecutors with battery and disorderly conduct over the incident. He entered a plea of not guilty.

The exes were dealing with a tragedy amid their issues. Margaretha and Rosenbook’s newborn baby, daughter Alisa, died on July 8.

Margaretha’s attorney, Taylor Hart, told Us, “Sadly, on July 8, 2025, Alisa Rosenbrook (daughter of Eric and Leida) was removed from life support and passed away.

“Today, the cause and manner of Alisa’s death are unknown. Leida is extremely distraught and is still seeking answers for herself.”

Hart added, There are many allegations of wrongdoing being levied against Leida. This is no surprise as she has endured years of unfounded negative publicity and social media attention since her appearance on 90 Day Fiancé in [2018]. Leida would have never harmed her child and she adamantly denies any allegations of wrongdoing,”

Us spoke to Rosenbrook about Margaretha’s claims of abuse in her court petition. He denied being physically, emotionally, or mentally abusive. He told Us, “I was nothing but supportive of her [of] anything she wanted to do and experience here.”

In her petition for legal separation, Margaretha asked for $7,000 per month in support. She said she did not have a job. The only income listed was $700 per month from her parents. The former reality star revealed she only had $200 in cash on her, $120 in her savings account and $500 in a checking account.

Margaretha was arrested on July 17 on charges of bond jumping. She denied the accusations and claimed it was all a mistake. She was released from custody but ordered to turn over her passport.

Margaretha and Rosenbrook made their debut on season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé in 2018.
