Taylor Swift has given fans their first real-life glimpse of her engagement ring since announcing Travis Kelce had popped the question.
The singer, 35, made her first public appearance alongside her NFL star fiancé on Thursday, August 28, when they attended a college football game at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
While watching Travis’ alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Swift was filmed inadvertently sharing a subtle peek at the sparkler when she took a sip of her drink.
Picking up the beverage with her left hand, The Tortured Poets Department singer’s new rock was on display to the cameras.
The ring is designed by Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry and features an old mine brilliant cut diamond set on a gold band with more small stones. The design was complete with a thin bezel. (An old mine brilliant cut diamond is a pre-modern stone that is characterized by its imperfect symmetry, cushion shape and chunky facets.)
Swift and Travis, 35, announced their engagement on Tuesday, August 26 via a joint Instagram post after two years of dating.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption read.
An accompanying image showed Travis down on one knee, while another showed the loved-up couple gazing into one another’s eyes. The series of images showed a backdrop featuring a garden full of flowers, where the couple got engaged.

Travis’s father, Ed, shared further details of the proposal with local media outlet News 5 Cleveland.
He told the outlet on the same day the engagement news was announced that his son popped the question in Travis’ backyard two weeks earlier.
“He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘let’s go out and have a glass of wine,’ … they got out there, and that’s when he asked her, and it was beautiful,” Ed explained. “They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew. So, to see them together is great.”
Ed added: “Travis actually did the proposal, oh, maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago.”
According to Ed, Travis initially wanted to wait until he could do “some grand thing, to make it a big, special event.”
However, plans ultimately change. Ed explained: “And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event … when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.”
