Clean the Sky – India-Based Sustainable Parks

Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

Mamta Modern Senior Secondary School in Vikaspuri, India, has officially opened the Sarjeewan Lata Vigyan Park, a new sustainable play destination for local children. Featuring a unique structure composed of repurposed scrap materials, this park was the result of a collaboration among the Mathematics, Science, and Art departments, as well as student participation.

Students can engage with geometric swings, physics-based balance structures, and other educational activities to foster active imagination, creativity, and critical thinking. Other structures highlight measurement, symmetry, motion, force, and energy, all of which can be directly experienced through play. This project aligns with India’s National Education Policy 2020, or NEP 2020, which aims to transform the educational system in the region to improve child care.
