Adult content creator Lily Phillips doesn’t always see eye to eye with her parents when it comes to her career.
“We’ve known for years she’s done OnlyFans and I thought it was just posing in swimwear and lingerie,” Lily’s dad, Lindsay, said in a recent episode of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, per the Daily Mail.
Lily’s mom, Emma, continued, “When she said she was doing OnlyFans, we stood back because we want to continue our relationship with our daughter. We were pretty open with it, but when it went to the next step, we were like, ‘No, no.’”
Lily, 24, attempted to keep her composure before crying as her parents continued to detail their desire for her to switch professions.
“If there’s anything we could do to change her profession, we’d do it overnight … It’s the ‘degradingness’ of it and making sure that she’s safe,” Lindsay said. “Sometimes we think, have we done anything wrong with her upbringing? Well, as far as I’m concerned, we’ve had nothing but nice times and love … Is it money? Because if it was money, we’d sell our house. You could have everything you want, Lily, if you gave it all up now.”
Lily walked out of the room as she told producers, “I don’t want to be on camera, I just need a moment.” Lindsay and Emma were also emotional as they explained they didn’t want to upset their daughter — but have received backlash from her choices.
“I get calls from random people saying, ‘I hope your daughter dies,” Lindsay said.
While reflecting on the moment with Stacey, Lily added, “I understand and respect how they feel and that’s that.” Lily and Stacey, meanwhile, began discussing the financial aspect of her career.
“So the subscribers, they’ll give a tenner and she’s got 33,000 so that’s £330,000 a month,” Stacey said, while Lily replied, “I’m so English, I find money so uncomfortable to talk about … I find it a little bit distasteful.”
Lily, who made headlines when she claimed earlier this year that she had sex with 1,113 men in 12 hours, allegedly explained that she earned a seven-figure sum from a video of her sleeping with 100 men in one day.
Despite her parents’ concerns, Lily shared that she has no plans to press pause on her content creation — and said she doesn’t see it as “distasteful.”
“I can’t imagine what else I’d be doing. It gives me so much drive and a reason to wake up in the morning,” she said. “This is something that isn’t degrading for me — I still have to live my life how I want to.”
