Meghan Markle Is Not All Over the Royal Family, Netflix Show’s Season 2 Premieres With the Duchess Revealing the One Thing She Misses From Her Former Life

Meghan Markle was long believed to have closed the chapter on her royal ties, choosing a life for herself and her family in California away from the constant spotlight of the monarchy. But with the premiere of season two of her Netflix lifestyle show With Love, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, surprised many by admitting there is still one thing she deeply misses from her former life in the United Kingdom.

Meghan Markle’s latest confession on With Love, Meghan season two might just earn her a spot in the grandma club — as it is absolutely not what viewers expected from the ex-royal turned Hollywood creative.

In the third episode of With Love, Meghan, which premiered all eight of its episodes in the early hours of Tuesday, August 26, Meghan Markle opened up about a surprising detail she still misses from her time in the United Kingdom, the radio station Magic FM. Speaking with her guest, France Tan, in the earlier-mentioned episode, Markle sounded almost nostalgic about her former life as a British citizen; however, Tan appeared only in the mood for fun as he teased the As Ever founder, calling the radio network “such a grandma station.” The Suits alum simply laughed at the quip, saying, “I’ll be that grandma.”

Meghan Markle’s mention of her husband, Prince Harry’s, home country, notably, came more than two years after her last visit across the pond. She, for the record, has not set foot in the UK since September 2022, when she attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in the country alongside Prince Harry and his family. Markle, on the contrary, has built her life in the United States since stepping down as an active royal, focusing on personal projects and a range of media ventures. Recently, she has reportedly lined up a Princess Diana documentary alongside Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s are reportedly planning to honor Princess Diana with a landmark Netflix project. Here is everything known about it so far.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly in early discussions to produce a documentary about the late Princess Diana to coincide with her 30th death anniversary in 2027. The potential project is said to be a part of their renewed deal with Netflix, signed earlier this month, and could become one of their most personal and high-profile productions yet. According to The Sun, the couple has pitched multiple ideas to the streaming giant, with a program focused on the late Princess of Wales’ life and enduring legacy receiving serious consideration from the platform.

The documentary naturally would be produced under Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell Productions, with Netflix retaining first rights to any content produced under the new agreement. The platform, too, is expected to finance the endeavor, ensuring creativity.  Amid With Love, Meghan season two and this rumored outing, despite missing the United Kingdom and especially the radio in the country a bit, it is clear that Markle and her family are more than comfortable with their stateside life with seemingly no plans of moving back to Britain.
