Taylor Fritz might be one of the hottest names in men’s tennis, but his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, is the one setting tongues wagging.

Riddle, 28, met Fritz, 27, on a dating app in 2020. The pair have been inseparable since, and Riddle makes regular appearances at nearly all of Fritz’s matches.

In a 2023 interview with The New York Times, Riddle admitted she doesn’t mind being known as a WAG (an acronym for “wives and girlfriends”), but she certainly didn’t see herself in a serious relationship with a tennis player until it happened.

“I genuinely did not have any friends who were interested in tennis, I had no friends who watched tennis, I had no friends who played or wore cute tennis clothing,” she told the outlet.

Fritz also told the newspaper he was clear about his past when they met: He had been married, had a child and gotten divorced before age 22. Luckily, Riddle was completely on board.

Morgan Riddle Has Over 1 Million Followers on Social Media

Riddle is well known within the influencer sphere and has over 1 million followers combined on TikTok and Instagram, where she often posts about fashion, travel and beauty.

Riddle’s social media accounts also offer Fritz’s fans a behind-the-scenes peek into what his life on the road is like. She often accompanies her boyfriend of five years as he travels the world playing tournaments and competitions.

Her Content Is Sometimes Controversial

In 2022, Riddle shared a video via TikTok explaining the rules of tennis to her followers (the caption of the video reads, “On a personal mission to make tennis cool again”). Though many people were receptive to the video, Riddle also experienced some backlash — and Fritz had to step in and offer his support.

While speaking to reporters after his third-round win at the BNP Paribas Open in 2022, Fritz said, “I think what she did was awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it.”

He continued, “I think you get your typical older fan who may be upset about it. I don’t understand how anyone can get upset about it. I’m the one that’s a professional tennis player, I’m the one that does this for a living. I 100 percent agree with everything in that video.”

Since then, Riddle appears to have turned the sound on the video off.

Morgan Riddle Grew Up in Minnesota

Though she’s a jet-setter these days, Riddle actually grew up in Minnesota, a fact she revealed during an April 2022 appearance on the “Hold On to Your Racket” podcast.

“I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I’m from the Midwest originally,” she told cohosts Josefina Gurevich and Shravya Pant. “My dream was always to go to New York,” she continued.

In 2023, The New York Times reported Riddle moved to Staten Island to attend college at Wagner College.

She Keeps Taylor Fritz Healthy

In the same Times interview, Fritz revealed Riddle has taken it upon herself to keep him focused and healthy while he prepares for matches. “She’s very on me about eating healthy, getting lots of sleep,” he told the newspaper. “It’s the little things that create a healthy routine for me, and that helps me perform better.”

She Met Taylor Fritz on Raya

Fritz and Riddle actually met on a dating app: the members-only Raya. As Riddle told People, she moved to Los Angeles during the coronavirus pandemic and didn’t know anyone in the city. She hopped on the app, and the pair hit things off.
